Students Produce Exceptional Work at OSG

Since its founding, the Online School for Girls has been committed to connection, collaboration, creativity, and application as its guiding principles.  Because of this, students in courses produce original works regularly.  Two recent examples of the creative application of course content come from the Global Issues class and the Graphic Arts course.

In Global Issues, teacher Mike Gwaltney has his students blogging about issues that they are studying in his class: http://osgglobalissues.wordpress.com/  By submitting their thoughts for public comment and scrutiny, Mr. Gwaltney hopes that his students will engage in an authentic dialogue with students around the world.

In Graphic Arts, teacher Donny Yankyellow has his students apply skills learned to creation of original digital productions.  Examples from the Graphic Arts course can be found here: http://onlineschoolgallery.posterous.com/
