Online School for Girls courses are open to any girl anywhere.  Girls from more than twenty states, Albania, Korea, Japan, Jordan, China, Taiwan, and Uganda joined us for the 2012-2013 school year. Our students are high-achieving, motivated young women who are eager to be challenged and learn new things. Here a few things they have said about our courses.

The best part of the course for me was the global communication it provided with other students and the instructor of the course. I enjoyed engaging in the frequent discussions which occurred as well as the collaboration of work and ideas. This was really a strong factor in sustaining my interest in the course.

I was amazed at the amount of information that could be communicated over the internet. Sometimes it seems hard enough trying to get help and learn from a teacher in person, much less from someone in another state. But it turned out to be simple and easy to get help and to learn about a subject that I am passionate about.  I am having an amazing time in this class! It is so much fun and I am very grateful that I was given the opportunity to participate in it.

I discovered a talent and a joy I have in computer science, which I may never have known was it not for OSG. The freshness and depth of my instructor’s knowledge astounded me as I, alongside my classmates from around the country, dove into the world of Java programming. I may have struggled on several occasions, but taking an online course was a very interesting and enlightening experience.
